Rehab Assistant
Pacific Peak Therapy is looking for a Part Time Rehabilitation Assistant in Kamloops
Description
In this role you would work with the Occupational Therapist, under their direction, to implement rehabilitation programs for clients involved in workplace incidents or motor vehicle accidents. Rehabilitations programs include:

Supporting activities of daily living (cooking, cleaning, personal care, navigating the community, etc.)

Physical activation programs (walking programs, gym-based exercise, home exercise programs, pool programs)

Cognitive Rehabilitation support for individuals Traumatic Brain Injury

Community Reintegration support for individuals with Anxiety and/or Depression
Requirements

Experience supporting individual's with injuries or illnesses

Background in kinesiology or Therapist Assistant diploma is an asset but not required.

Valid driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle

Must be available during regular business hours

Proficiency in using electronic systems for booking, charting and telehealth
